SAHRR part 4

The "curves" that I am using in this part are yoyo's.  I used the Clover yoyo maker to make them.  It is really helpful in the whole process of making them.  They aren't sewed onto the block yet because I am waiting to do that after the quilting is done.

And here is part 3 and part 4 sewn together:

  1. I love your yoyos! I've never made one but they are so pretty. Nicely done!

    1. Thank you. If you want to make some I would suggest getting a clover brand yoyo maker. It makes it so easy. You can get them nice and even that way. I bought different sizes of them back in the day when I could use fifty percent coupons at joanns store on items of my choosing.

  3. That's a great alternative to making curved blocks and it'll look lovely and whimsical on your piece.

  4. Your yoyos are lovely and look like they will be fun to place and sew on when the quilting is complete!

  5. I saw quite a few yo-yos in RachaelDaisy's quilts (from Australia). They bring a charm and a dimension to the quilts--how perfect for your. Looking good!
