SAHRR finished
Mine is a "summer quilt" because it is the top and backing with no batting. This will be a lighter weight to wear with the summer weather coming up. It is totally quilted. A wearable quilt. The buttons are vintage. I inherited them years ago from my husbands grandmother. And here are two pictures before it was assembled: Thank you to all the SAHRR ladies that provided patterns, suggestions and encouragement. 💕

I love the double four patch...perfect with your pieces
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am a little disappointed with the lack of contrast. Or the too busy of fabrics for such small blocks but I decided a couple years ago that if I make a mistake just keep going. One time I sewed a piece of fabric upside down in a quilt and I just left it that way.
DeleteThe double four patch makes such a nice border!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I was going to put more four patches along the side and then got too frustrated with the math.
DeleteI like your double four-patch! I see in your comment to Carolyn your frustration with the quilt math - I hear ya! :D
